We invite you to read our leaflet

Butcher’s twines are one of the key accessories in cold meat processing industry. They are used to tie irregularly shaped cold meats and meats, giving them a uniform shape before smoking, curing or baking. Our offer includes twines made of natural fibres such as cotton, flax, as well as of synthetic materials intended for contact with food. The wide selection of our butcher’s twines includes also elastic threads for mechanical binding of cold meats and roulades. We also offer polypropylene cords and ropes intended for hanging animal half-carcasses. Threads can be manufactured on special order, as requested by a customer. We meet the highest quality standards for production of cords for contact with food. We have been granted a BRC certificate and we issue a PZH and Declaration of conformity for each product. Please review the wide selection of various types of butcher’s twines...

Cotton butcher’s twines

Cotton butcher’s twines are among the most popular and most commonly used cords in the meat processing industry throughout the world. Cotton is the best material, since it does not give taste, flavour or colour to dishes when cooked, smoked or baked. Cotton is strong enough to be drawn into tight knots. We manufacture cotton butcher’s twines made of 100% cotton or additionally strengthened, in a vast range of colours.

- standard roll weights 100g, 250g, 500g are manufactured on cylindrical spools, larger bobbins 1 kg, 2 kg, 3 kg on conical spools.

- production range from 1 mm to 8 mm

Linen butcher’s threads

Linen butcher’s threads are manufactured of natural fibres of common flax. In the meat industry they are the most commonly used for binding cold meats, bowels and salami. We manufacture natural-coloured and white linen threads, mat and impregnated. Impregnated threads are stiffer and are characterised by water-impermeable polished coating. Linen threads are used to highlight high quality of a cold meat as a traditional product.

- standard roll weights 100g, 250g, 500g are manufactured on cylindrical spools, larger bobbins 1 kg, 2 kg, 3 kg on conical spools.

- production range from 1 mm to 8 mm

Viscose butcher’s threads

Viscose butcher’s threads are most commonly used for binding roulades. Despite a thin structure, they are characterised by high resistance to moisture absorption and high breaking strength.

- standard roll weights 100g, 250g, 500g are manufactured on cylindrical spools, larger bobbins 1 kg, 2 kg, 3 kg on conical spools.

- production range from 1 mm to 5 mm

Ropes for tying up half-carcasses

Woven lines made of polyester, polypropylene or cotton are intended for hanging animal half-carcasses. They are characterised by high breaking strength, slight stretchiness as well as high wear resistance and moisture absorption resistance. The ropes are also used to hang products such as prosciutto di Parma. We manufacture ropes in a vast range of colours, with or without a core.
